Ok so who has it. who will win?
Opens
1.Stewart (think he will get a little crazy balls and win it or bin it)
2.Reed
3. RV

(i really dont know between Reed and RV - i think it will be those 3 but cant really work out which order they will finish in, crazy stuff normally happens at A1 - maybe we will see Hansen up there for the first race. - maybe Dungey - but i think he will be like last year and struggle to pass and move forward)

I also noted Cody Mackie will be in there to watch out for him on the #333. hopefully he will go well, not sure what he is riding or anything like that - not sure how many he is racing either??

Lites
1.Wilson
2. Tomac
3. Moss/baggett

looking forward to seeing Mossy in there injury free. just dont know where to place him just yet, hopefully top 3 but def top 5!
also Ryan Marmont is there too hopefully see him in top 5

I would like Reedy to win and hopefully Metty up there too, but it's no doubt a hard task against guys like Stewart, RV and even Dungey. I'd really like to see KTM rewarded for all of their hard work too. Like I said on Twitter, I reckon it will be a old school battle between the 22 and the 7.

In the Lites, would love to see Mossy on the box and also Doggy in the top 10. That would be awesome with next to no preparation after he was called up to fill in for Larsen. We'll have all the results/news on Sunday and then flat out after that for the rest of the year! Can't wait :-)

LIke out of bounds mentioned in 1st post. The top few riders are all so good at the moment, its hard to pick the podium plp.

JS may bin it or win it. he pulls quads where most plp dont & makes time up in certain sections. the track map for A1 looks good, big sweeping left hander into woops, this will see who pulls away faster.

in the 450s, it will be a good race, hope no one gets injured in the first SX race but...

in 250s, hope aussies do well - as for Cody , hope he shows some skills. doggy & moss are both experienced in us scene, so hope they can compete against the other best 250 riders, as the skills of some of the guys are just blitzing lately....

I'm going Stewart, RV, Reedy in the 450s. Dungey will be there also but Stewart is desperate,

Wilson, Tomac and Sipes in lites.

1. RV
2. Reed
3. Dungey
I think JS7 will ruin himself at some stage during the main.

Not too sure about the lites, dont really follow them as much.

My picks-
1.RV- He's been flying below the radar and has momentum from last year is on his side.
2. Bubba- fastest man on the planet but will take a few races to hit his stride (if he doesn't cartwheel)
3.Dungey- he didn't win the title the year before last with luck and would have won last year if he didn't have a few mech dnfs, I think he'll take a few races to get that bike sorted under race conditions though. It would be cool to see KTM finally go well in the open class in the AMA as well.
4. Reedy- I'd love to have him in #1 position but I think he's kind of coming in behind the 8 ball again after the injury (broken bones) he got from that SX in Europe and only been on his bike for 2-3 weeks now. His consistency will keep him in the Championship hunt but will take a while to get a win IMO (I hope Im wrong).

Like I said on twitter, how epic would it be to see someone besides the top 4 win it, or see someone like Metty or Short come in and genuinely win straight up and be a player for the whole season.

All I know is I'll be cheering for all the Aussies!!!!!!

As we all know you can't win the title at the 1st round but you can sure lose it. I reckon opens RV will take a fought win over Stewart & RD Chad will be a podium threat but will take safe points so 3-5 place for him. I see Stroupe mixing it up early with the contenders and a top 7 from him. I see a couple of former top 10 riders DNQ maybe Alessi & lemay.
Lites 1 Wilson,11 mx champ finish 2nd last year on the east and has arguably the best bike on the gate.
2 Tomac 2nd in the title last year on the west. These to should battle for the win. It's going to be tight.
3 Musquin a bit of a dark horse but the guy has got serious skills.
4 Seely race winner from last year on the same team and good starter.

Reedy must be stoked. If he really didnt like the track and wasn't 'feeling it', to come away with 22 points and no injuries - great start.

I doubt we'll see RV run away like that too often this year, but he is certainly on his game right now. He was the only guy who really didnt seem to struggle with the track or dampness coming through later in the night.

Stewart did not look impressive at all.. before and after his crash - didnt look like he was on or near RV pace - but no one else did either.
i wonder if a lot of the riders were easing into the season with that race (except RV) everyone seemed to be a little subdued..

I'm with you outofbounds, Stewart didn't look anywhere near as fast or as comfortable as his practice hot lap suggested. The track looked really technical and really hard to charge. Seely did and awesome job for TLD. Strange none of the PC boys hit that odd shaped triple in the Lites & only some of the 450 guys where hitting it.
RV just didnt seem to care how tricky it was he just held it on. I think the 22 rode a good race he would be spewing about that little fall if it cost him 2nd.
Did anybody notice the new body work on Stewarts JGR Yamaha. The shourds where different & didn't wrap around the front like the stock ones do.

Hey guys that was awsum just watched on youtube, really happy for Reed even though he said the track was crap he did look smooth and comfortable beside the little front wheel wash.
Hey AG can you find out a little more on Cody Mackie, man he just missed out on making the main in his heat race. Good luck to him anyways.

Moss is one to look out for, he has the first race under his belt and he is injury free.... ITS TIME....

Will do mate, hopefully Mackie is there when I go over for LA SX Rd3!

I think Mossy will get better with confidence too, once he knows he is one of the guys he'll be right up front all the time - just needs a start.

Cheers Kiwi looks like JGR are leaving no stone unturned for JS. Hope he can find some speed. He did look himself at A. Also I noticed Davi Milsaps isnt running that set up.
Did you hear about the Dunlop Tyre controversy. JGR apparently they used "works Dunlop tyres at A.
