2011 Super X is a week away.. who do you reckon has it?
Lites?
Opens?
I think Jay and Reardon have to be up there as being the favorites..

I think Marmont and Jake Moss will be quick judging by last year, Blose could impress and hopefully the KTM boys make their mark with Reardon, Simmonds and Doggy. Heard Mackenzie is going quick too!

In the Lites it would have to be Mossy as favourite, but there are so many guys in there who could challenge him.

Too hard to narrow it down without seeing what they've got before the opener. I'm getting real excited now!

Yep, too close to call till after round 1. Blose will be a challenger for sure.

Good start, stay out of trouble, score good points in every race needed.

Big call, I would think that Tye Symmonds should be in good form after his stint in the USA. The CDR boys will be ready to go for the Opens. Lites it's very hard to look past Matt Moss he has been the form rider in Super X Lites for the past 3 seasons, Hopefully Dean Ferris can challenge him. With this short series momentum will play a big part, small mistakes will be very costly.

Under 19s will be hard to go past Willis for the title but I think Savatgy, Wilson, Matt Phillips will go good. It will be interesting to see how Matt and Jakes brother/step brother (Thomas Larsen-Moss) will go...

In the Lites I've heard that Matt Moss is on it big time, the only one that will beat him is himself (or MA's rule book), but I think Ferris, Matt Cox, Stykes, Cachia and Harrison will be up there as well. Also Matt Ryan making his comeback from enduro, from the factory Husky team to a privateer Honda. Will be interesting to see how "GAVIN" Faith goes.

Is Kirk Gibbs still injured??

Jay Marmont will be hard to beat in the open class but realistically theres a big group of riders that could win races, Doggy, Moss, Blose, Bird, Boyd, Simmonds (will be super fast from his time in the states and fighting for a ride next year), Waters (coming in under the radar), McCoy, Bopping, Reardon (if he brings his A-Game that he lost when he went to the states IMO), Mackenzie....

MAN IM EXCITED just thinking about it!!!!!

Im expecting big things from Savatgy but to tell you the truth I had never heard of Gavin, has he raced AMA MX/SX or has he just come out of juniors??? He must be half decent if Yarrive has him out here on his team though.

The word on Kirk Gibbs is that he broke his collarbone 4 weeks ago and couldn't get it plated so he's just been letting it heal naturally, so he hasn't riden for 4 weeks but is expected to line up (I reckon he'll be looking for another injury by racing with the lead up he's had), so if your tipping him, I wouldn't expect too much

Yarrive has faith in Gavin lol I expect him to be pretty good. After Larsen it seems a few American young guys are using Australia to develop as a pro doesn't it.

I'm going to call Gibbsy today and see what he says. Last time I spoke to him he said he was going to try and ride in the week leading up.

Major bummer about Cachia breaking his wrist at Wollongong, he was on it this year with a real shot at the title.

Pretty cool to see McCoy with the red plate as well, that guy works as hard as anyone and deserves it.

Another major bummer about Savatgy and Jay Wilson breaking wrists as well, both were in the top 3 favourites for the 19s title.

I heard that Ford Dale has called it quits. Any one know the truth on this one??

Also pumped to Brendan Harrison quietly putting it on the podium 2 weeks in a row.

Did anyone see McCoy block pass Billymac in the last laps, 2nd last corner last week and then Billymac went down, then Billy mac gave him a punt after they were stopped to get the all clear to get the go ahaed to go back to the gates. Bit of a rivalry there I reckon, I even hear that DMC has been calling Billymac a little BITCH....... OK I might have made that last bit up, but lets just say I didn't hahaha

Oh and speaking of BillyMac, when is he going to be a "Supercros" rider?? All his interviews and everything he always says "hey Im not a supercross rider" haha cracks me up. He could be leading there series if he didn't make a few little mistakes, not bad for "not a supercrosser" :)

BRING ON MAITLAND!!!!!
