I want to see how KTM will get an FI 450 sorted for Anaheim 1.

Haha, yeah. Out of left field.
They say there will be an early release of 2013 450, like a 2012 1/2. And that is what he will be riding in January.
Geez, they will have an awesome team with Dungey, Roczen and Musquin. Add whoever Dungey's 450 team mate is, plus DeCoster in charge = race wins and championship contenders.

The worst kept secret in MX. There will be a huge focus on what the orange open class bike can do in the US. I know they have been trying for a long time to crack it.
But I have a feeling any title they will win next year will be in the Lites/250 class

Dungey & Decoster will make it work with KTM, it will be great to watch as no doubt RD will be out with a vengence to capture a title next Year. KTM have the equipment now & are investing big in making a championship in the U.S a reality plus have the riders & importantly the right people in the background managing.

Going to be interesting with RD, CR, JS, RV and TC. My guess is RV will take the crown again but you just can't count out Reedy anymore, especially after his outdoor performance this season. If it wasn't for his space launch, he had the young guys psyched out big time. James might be aggressive this season as well now after signing on with JGR.

So is Bubba to JGR definent yet?? I know JGR do all there R&D in house but they really haven't come out with alot of results (except for Grants win at A1 the other year), so its hard to say there going in the right direction, I guess we'll find out if Bubba is on the team next year.
I think Villopoto will have a massive advantage next year, staying on the same brand/bike, he'll be full of confidence and after how he dominated late in the MX and the Monster cup, anyone will be doing to stop him.
I hope Reedy stays on a Honda, if he changes bikes and struggles a bit at the start of this season like this year, the others will be gone before he knows it.
I think Dungey will be very strong, he'll be so hungry to put the Kato up front with alot of testing time and an unlimited budget from KTM

JGR & Stewart are holding a press conference on Wednesday at the JGR head quarters about the future of their relationship. One would think that James will be there on a Yamaha. Word is James rode their bike and liked it better than his L&M bike. You would also think that Jeremy Albretch would have to be a big draw card last time they where together James went 24-0 outdoors.
RV is the mark to beat. Dual champ and he can't say enough about the 2012 KXF450. But nobody has defended a 450 title since RC.
KTM's & Dungey will be a force Chad should start the season stronger than last year if he stays on a Honda

Rumor is that Honda pulled the factory bikes from Chad's stable. If that is true, what a huge stab in the back after all he did, but he will probably ride his modified stock Honda as he just loves Honda. Chad keeps denying that Honda did that, but there seems to be too much buzz about it lately so my guess is the works bikes are gone and in all honesty, he did just fine with his production bike.
I just hope at least JS can keep up with RV so the fans get some excitement from the season.

Wow. How could they pull Chad's bike supply after holding up the brand all year? If they've gone with the McGrath/Brooks team for bikes instead of Chad (instead of as well as Chad), then they could be buying themselves some bad press. Chad is ultra popular now in the US.

I hope it's not true, but it's been the buzz around Racerx for some time now. I think everyone is guessing that Larry Brooks and McGrath had something to do with this. The thing is Chad DID hold up Honda all year and made them look great. I think he got no money from them whatsoever, but they gave him full factory bikes, so it's just mind boggling if they really decided to take them away from him. We should all know pretty soon what's going on.

I've been living over here in Canada for so long now and have seen all of Chads ups and downs and you're absolutely right, he's quite the hero now over in the US with his tremendous 2011 indoor and outdoor efforts. He's become a role model for a lot of racers and fans who admire him not only for his results, but that he had the guts against all odds to start his own team. I hope he never leaves the sport.

If they do that, I hope he runs Suzukis (since it looks like JS7 has gone with JGR on a Yamaha). God knows how many CRFs were sold in the US and Aussie this year because of him. He is all over their advertising. His new found open and honest approach to the media is gold for any sponsor surely?

The trouble is that the manufactures in Japan feel they make no money in MX/SX so they don't seem to be committed like in the past. I think the last holdout for a full factory mx team in the US was Suzuki but now even they have leased the team to Yoshimura and are out of it as well. Thank God for the energy drinks keeping things somewhat in check. What I don't get is that the stadiums are jam packed full so somebodies making money somewhere along the line. I remember James Stewart even saying it just isn't easy anymore as it was in the past. He said that nobodies banging down anybodies door anymore no matter how good they are.

Yeh its pretty crazy that Honda pulled support for Reedy and gave it to MC and Brooke's team after what Reedy did for them this year but you never know what the circumstances are and red tape thats on deals like that, still surprising even though MC is super tight with Honda.

I remember Reedy always saying "it's a small world in MX and everybody knows everybody". I bet he thought starting his own team would have kept him out of the politics of it all!

One bit of good news today is that JS signed a 3 year deal indoors and outdoors with JGR which should make the season a beauty again. Then JGR will put him into NASCAR after that. I feel Reedy should have got that deal, but oh well.

That is very strange that Honda have put Reed back on the outer. From what Brooks & Short have said their bikes will be Factory Support. So they might not have everything the Factory Honda's have. Hopefully Reed has a similar offer. It seems a little rude seeing as he had the most wins of any Honda rider for the season & lead both championships during the 2011.
That JGR contract would have to be one of the biggest in MX history, maybe not in the money department but for time.
