just read on Reedy's twitter account... "But on the moto side #TwoTwoMotorsports is working on sponsorship that would allow us to grow. My goal is to have another 450 guy #2012"
who do you think it will be?. lot of talk on pulpmx that it could be RD??

I'm not sure who it would be, but I'm more waiting to see what this big announcement is on Monday. Chad says it's not moto related, so who knows. At first I thought it would be a sponsorship deal, but maybe he's racing a car somewhere. Co-driver in a V8 team at Bathurst??? lol. Just made that up, I don't have any idea.

The big question is will the 2nd rider have a the same spec bike as Chad or will he be on a Pro Circuit set up.

Good question.... the only answer we have is that is will be a 450 guy and not a 250 guy as some previously expected. If it's not a proven 450 winner (which I couldn't see happening just yet) I reckon it will be Byrner or a young guy fresh out of the Lites. Anybody pointing out this year? Hansen? Two Aussie Super X champs lol

I doubt it will be Burner for his team mate, he has a 2 year contract with BTO Suzuki and seems happy on that bike. I think Hanny sounds pretty realistic

The talk about RD comes from the fact he is off contract at the end of the year and Reedy saying the 450 guy will be a race/championship win capable guy...Plus I think Honda would like Dungey on red bikes and Dungey could bring his personal sponsors like Target over. They both wear Fox (Fox/Shift), etc..Just a thought.
I think Reedy getting a pat on the back from the Queen for being awesome on a bike.

There was rumors on another site that discussions had taken place between Dungey & Honda about running a similar venture to Two Two Motorsports. Word is he has a large out of industry sponsor interested in him.

Yep, Dungey does have a lot of nice outside industry backing like Target and even Livestrong. His motorhome looks awesome!
Do you guys think if Dungey did have a great amount of backing behind him that he'd take it to TwoTwo, or form his own deal? It's kind of becoming like NASCAR with the owner/driver/rider type of deals.

id like to see another aussie take the ride. maybe Metty?? didnt he finish 2nd or something last year?
i hope in the future that Reedy uses twotwo to help up and coming aussies get their foot in the door. would be good to get a aussie lites rider.

I'm leaning towards the 22 team. Reedy seems to be talking super friendly about Dungey in interviews (talking him up, which could be Reedy's mind games too tho). I think Chad has really stepped up as a statesman for the sport there and Dungey is still just a young fella, and without Roger D nearby to guide him...maybe.
Depends if 22 allows a 'loose' type arrangement - you can run your own personal sponsors, but under out of the 22 rig, with our main support being Honda, Belray, Fox/Shift, Pro Circuit. Like Windham running MSR gear on Geico, even though the team runs Fox. With the view to Dungey being the lead rider with another younger guy on board later with Chad easing into management.
Certainly love to see how it unfolds!

I guess it would depend if Dungey would be willing to invest in the infrastructure to run a team or utilze Two Two' setup. Either way it is very interesting.

Chad has to get someone to take over from him at the end of 2012. U have to think that has to be a real title contender dungy,villa,canard or maybe a couple rookies. Not sure who is going to the 450's next season but my pick would be Dean Wilson. Whoever he get's i'm sure they must be a 100% legit tittle contender by 2012 for the team to be what Chad wants it to be when he leave's.
