Harley Quinlan Ride Day;
It's taken me two weeks to write this
Heart, strength and beauty - One boy can change the way we view the world and chase our own dreams.
From strength to strength;
Harley Quinlan is a young man faced with the re-birth of his livelihood, one that the motorcycle community won't let him travel alone. It's unnerving to face the realities of the sport we immerse our lives in daily.
Each morning has passed since Harley's accident and I awaken with the thought of his injuries and the new beginnings that lie ahead for the amazing and talented likeable young lad from Queensland. With each thought I pray that his challenges are faced with the same tenacity and discipline he hit the race track with. His vigour placed him amongst the top in his field and aboard a factory ride with Yamaha. He has achieved more in the past 18 years then most do in a lifetime and although he faces new challenges, I believe and hope he smacks adversity in the face with his strength and charter and achieves a great deal more in the years to come.
The one reality I have realised is I don't need to ride to complete my involvement in the sport. Turning a throttle is one way to be involved, promoting the sport, teaching and rallying behind its future is another. I am lucky I will be able to ride again, after having spinal surgery only 9 weeks ago. Harley and Luke's racing may take a different turn but I hope their spirit, skill and charter remain in the sport on many levels.
As Harley faces new challenges I for one want to make sure that he does not face them alone. I am calling out to riders throughout Australia and specifically Victoria to come out and support the Harley Quinlan ride day.
Together we can make sure he doesn't have to face it alone. A team of people pulling together with one heart can move mountains. I hope you can all come out and support the ride day. ALL PROCEEDS will be given to Harley to aide in his rehabilitation.

That's awesome YK, will make a news story for the home page too. A lot of cool stuff up for auction and sounds like it will be a good day of riding too.

WOW…..They say true friendship is one you feel through your heart, not one you see through your eyes. Today was an amazing day – I witnessed both.
I was overwhelmed by the compassion and selfless acts of many to show one boy that he does not need to battle alone.
Harley, today you brought a nation of people together, that’s what legends do!
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength, the strength champions are made of – the strength Harley is made of.
Thanks to all of selfless acts of many we were able to raise a little over $15,000.
I will write a full report later, but thank you to every single person who made the effort to be there today – riders unite.

With the number of dodgy bids he plucked from thin air I reckon Kev Williams should change over to the Real Estate game.
Well done to all those who made the trip out to Moe.
