I just heard yesterday from a very reliable source that he was starting his own team. He must be ready to part with a lot of cash.

Thats crazy & awesome at the same time. It's great to see him ge mainstream exposure like that about his new team. But not cool the moto journalist didnt get the scoop first.

I knowwhat you mean The daily Tellegraph is making it sound like he will be making a hybid bike from Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki &KTM parts. We know what he means is that he i not restricted to using parts from the guys he is sponsored by.

I wonder if he will employ a certain motorcycle guru who helped him out here in Oz with the Vodafone ride?

Here's a bit of a compilation for the story:

http://www.motoonline.com.au/2010/11/09/ama-sx-australias-reed-to-launch-own-team-in-the-usa/

I think it's cool that he's doing it, lets hope it pays off for him. Starting your own deal or business is always exciting, so he must be pretty pumped to go ahead right now.

Between Reedy's team and JDR, Australia will have plenty to cheer about in the AMA next year!

Solo at this stage. Says he's got all the staff set to go though, so that's a positive!

Its amazing just how similar Reedy's career has been to McGraths was, if it wasn't for the GOAT, he would probably have just as many race wins and Championships aswell

Reed will certainly be in the mix. He looks good on the Honda, and the bike probably suits his style better than the KX. A bit of luck and some decent starts are needed to head off Dungey, Villo and Stewart.

If Short & metty's starts are anything to go by. Cr22 should be pulling good starts next year. Keen as to see some pic's of the bike. On another note does anyone know where pourcell will fit in next season. There is still the tld bike(if they do the whole sx tour) and IV9's old seat at valli motorsport. Does any know if Dan Reardon has signed a ride 4next year

I have heard CR will have factory Showa suspension from pretty good sources, so that is a positive. Any factory support helps.

Ash, last we heard of Reardon he was testing a JDR KTM 350, so maybe he will come back to Oz on that. The Honda team should be Waters and Boyd over here from what I'm told.

As for Pourcel, somebody said Valli, but who really knows... Reedy's stole all the limelight.

Pourcel would be competitive on a unicycle with a flat tyre. If he gets the Valli bike with some Yamaha support (as it sounds CR is going to get), then that will give Yamaha 2 guys (with Stewart) a shot at the podium. What a great season it will be! Wish i was there for a look.
