Just tidying up and found a pic of me on a CR125 at a Pukekohe club day - 1982. What a piece of junk, even when it was new. Then while getting misty and thinking about how quick i wasnt, found a pic of me on the RM125 - 1988. Piece of junk snapped a rod in two and wrecked the cases and barrel at the 1988 nationals. Decided i've owned some real crap. Anyone beat those two pieces of Japanese suffering?

At our mates property we have a 1982 50 trike. Boy that thing is crap. You can do good monos on it but besides that it coughs oil everywhere but gotta give it credit its still running over 25 years later and i cant imagine they have been the easiest years. It just sits in the shed then someone pulls it out thumps it till more oil comes out then just chuck it back in the shed hahah

Haha I always had pretty good bikes. The XR80s weren't the coolest looking things, but went alright! Now I look back, the CR80s in the early 90s weren't so flash lol. Especially with the oiled up exhaust pipe after being ridden like a girl...

It was terrible, the thing was designed so well that when yoù kickstarted it the kick starter would jam your foot between itself and the footpeg...,! Painful as i still have a lump on my right foot where the bone has jammed that many times haha =) good times ,

Those 89 Hondas were trick. A mate came back from europe with a Mugan kitted 125 and raced the sx in Sydney that year. Made my lemon RM look real crap. Dust them off and race the pre 90 mx classes!Posts: 206

Back in the day my uncle lent my older bro a Yamaha 80, it was yellow with a steel tank (80 mod or earlier I think), it was so hard to start, so he used to bump start it all the time, one day after school my bros mate came over our house and had a go (never riden a motorbike before), took off out of out driveway and went straight across the road and through the neihbours fence across the road LOL
And it was the same bike I dislocated my mums shoulder on but thats whole different story
