When is it a good time to step up to sbk?
Word is that young Brodie W wants to step up.
He is still a teenager, so is it to soon to jump on a superbike?

Is it too soon?
NO!
Horses for courses. It would be a good learning experience for someone like Brodie. He could always go to FX.

Nah, he is ready for sure.
He will be better than his big brother I reckon.
FX will ruin his career IMO, he needs to get out of here like Casey and fark off over seas.
There really is nothing here for riders to compete at the top level.
FX is full of ride day heros and ASBK is needing a massive influx of good riders to make it appealing enough for sponsors, so it is all pretty shitty here for RR

i disagree ,if a rider dominates and dominate being the key word, rides wil com his way.lets get some experience and maturity into him before heading o/s to another series, isn't there enough ausies over there already in all countries fighting to STAY contracted to teams that CRASH and BURN out these so call guns? I haven't seen a rider stand out in australia sense the 'go show'.These days you have to b a bit more than an A grader winning a handfull of races a year to have a show in the world arena.Wake up and grip the right tool

From my experience i would say its too early for Brodie. The guys that tend tocompedative at superbike level are riders who have been have spent time in supersport and have been consistantly fast and winning races. History speaks for it self just look at over the past few years on who has one the superbike titles.Guys like Brooks,Krusty,Stauffer,Alleton,Waters & then you have guys that have been fast straight away on a superbike Staring,O'Halloran,Maxwell all these guys spent time learning there skills its a very big step from supersport to superbike. Sure you may get some that could step straight up but it very rare even if they get on a good bike it very hard to run up frount straight way. A perfect example is a guy like Pat Medcalf he,s already fast and dominated both 600 & 1000 superstock & is compeditive on a supersport bike but put him up against Staring,Stauffer,Waters,Maxwell on a SBK & lets see the results.
