I have a question for you guys…
Who uses Twitter and follows the many American sites etc when they are doing live updates from races and events via their Twitter accounts.
The obvious advantages here is that it is visible directly on your mobile in the most simple way possible, or if you do happen to be at home on your computer while the event is on, you can check out the Twitter account for the updates.
You don't have to have your own account to view a Twitter page (check out twitter.com/motoonline for an example), so it's easily accessible for users.
Racer X and a few others do it at the Nationals in the U.S, while Speed Cafe has started doing it at V8 Supercars events and it seems to have taken off pretty well.
Let me know your opinions on this type of social media!

twitter updates are great - and gives a few diff perspectives of the action, depending if it's from a journo, promoter, team manager or rider,
for AMA MX, there's a heap of choice, but PulpMX has to be the best. Matthes has a unique and "creative" take on all the action on and off the track - funniest shit ever...
