Does anyone know what the top speeds were or where to find them from the Aussie Supers at the Island?

I couldnt see past the finish line from the roof to see who was fastest. Darwin's straight will be interesting, not very fast coming onto it!

Hey Ali G, you have riden most of the bikes (or similar) in the field, which bike will be fastest in a straight line?
Maybe Motoonline could do a "drag off" where as the bikes come onto the main straight in the super pole, they are timed from point to point, the full length of the straight.
And you could even add it to you tipping comp?

Pen, I've only ridden the Suzuki Superbike, the rest were street bikes. Fastest street bike you can get is the BMW, no doubt (from the seat of the pants without having it on the dyno). How the street bikes convert to Superbike trim, I don't know. AMCN usually has a radar gun at the events, so we'll see if that's still in action this year. Much of the time its the rider who holds the throttle on the longest (or opens it earliest from the previous corner) who will get the highest top speed, because all the race bikes are quite developed.
