RD1 ROUND INFORMATION SHEET
PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE:
Date - Tuesday, 9th March 2010
Time - Heats commence at 8:00pm QLD time,SA 8:30pm,NSW/VIC 9:00pm (log on to XboxLive Network by 7.50pm QLD Time)
Track - Stone Point 2
Format - 2 x 8 lap heats, 4 x 5 lap B-Main, 4 x 5 lap A-Main (both heats and both main events will run simultaneously)
Hosts - jordanbird57 and rudge427 (please add these user names and all participants in the event on the XBOX Live Network so we can invite you to the event). If either of these hosts aren in a main event then we will organise another host to invite participants into the game - this is why you need to add every participant in the series on your XBOX Live Network.
QUALIFYING FORMAT (DEPENDING ON NUMBER OF ENTRANTS):
Entries = Heats (number of riders)
8 = 1 (8 x heat one)
9 = 2 (4 x heat one, 5 x heat two)
10 = 2 (5 x in each heat)
11 = 2 (5 x heat one, 6 x heat two)
12 = 2 (6 x in each heat)
13 = 2 (6 x heat one, 7 x heat two)
14 = 2 (7 x in each heat)
15 = 2 (7 x heat one, 8 x heat two)
16 = 2 (8 x in each heat)
There will be an 8 rider maximum for the main events. The top four from each heat will transfer to the A-Main. The remaining riders will be transferred to the B-Main.
HEAT SEEDING STRUCTURE:
Heat 1 will feature riders ranked 1-3-5-7-9 in the points and will be filled with a random allocation at our discretion.
Heat 2 will feature riders ranked 2-4-6-8-10 in the points and will be filled with a random allocation at our discretion.
Note that all heat races participants will be announced and finalised with the final instructions on race day as per below Rules and Instructions.
Special Point Scoring for Sprint Format:
A Main=1st=1 point,2nd=2 points,3rd=3points,4th=4points,5=5points,6=6points,7th= 7points,8th=8 points
B Main=1st=9 points,2nd=10 points,3rd=11 points,4th=12 points,5th=13 points,6th=14 points,7th=15 points,8th=16 points.
Lowest points at end of four races will recieve 25 points and so on.

Note: If not all people can download tracks these may not be point scored rounds.
RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS (please read carefully):
* New Rule brought in by Rugde 427, a competitor may only use the # 1 plate if they won the previous weekend's event.
* This tournament is currently limited to XBOX 360 players.
* Entrants must be members on MotoOnline.com.au.
* The entry limit will be 16 riders at this stage as we develop the tournament.
* Entries close at midday on race day with no exceptions.
* Upon entering, state your username on our forum and also add each of our participants as friends on the XBOX 360 for invitations to the games.
* Nominated hosts will host the games and invite riders approximately 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time. The race will start at the exact listed start time (as long as the XBOX Live Network is functioning correctly), so if youre not online then you forfeit the round.
* All riders must quit the private session following your heat race and remain patient while waiting for the main events before we invite you to the main that you qualified for.
* Should anybody have trouble entering the private room after more than three invites then the event will go ahead without you for the round.
* Note that if any of us lose our internet connection and are kicked out of the room during the final then we will be scored with last place points for the round.
* If the host is kicked out during the session if it is the main event then continue and inform us of the final results afterwards.
* Should a dedicated round host not be featured in either the A-Main or B-Main, we will organise one of the participants in that particular final to host the race. Hosts will work this out between us and then all participants will receive the invite to their particular final from an entrant within the round.
* If you are not invited to your main event due to not being on our selected host friends list then you will miss out, so make sure you add everyone early in the week so all have time to accept the friend requests!
* If there is some sort of a mistake on the evening and you are invited to the wrong final by accident, relax it is only a game. Accept it, try your best and we will sort out your points following the round.
NOTES:
* Final instructions will be posted on MotoOnline.com.au in this thread before 6.00pm Qld time on the day of the race, confirming the final entry list, confirming the running of the event, listing your heat race allocation and nominated host for that particular event.
* A race report will be added directly after the round including details for when the following round will be held and at what track it will be staged at.

Remember, if your nominated host isn’t on your friends list on the Xbox Live Network then we wont be able to invite you to the final (however, we will add you all for this event as well).
Also remember that after your heat, you need to quit the game and go back to the Multiplayer menu screen to wait to be invited back into the main event that you make it into by our selected host.

ROUND 2 RACE RESULTS AND REPORT
TRACK: Stonepoint 2
RACE RESULTS:
The second round of the MotoOnline Mx vs Atv Reflex series would be one some may rather forget. We also welcomed three new members, AUSSIE MONGREL, jkluss and huthy691. The night got to a clean start with jordanbird57 and jsn411 winning the heats.When finals time came around the xbox live network crumbled yet again with riders being unable to gain entry to private rooms. Series organizers then came up with a plan , riders in the A main will be split into groups of two groups of 4. In the first of the A mains it was jordanbird57 and majorvandemon coming away with the wins. Then 1st and 2nd from both races would face off for higher points and 3rd and 4th would then face off for lower points. So for about 30 minutes after every race riders would switch and change rooms, however it was the fairest way that we could run the event. Md155 struggled with the race conditions and finished the night in tied 4th.
Important Note: This week it would be appreciatble with everyone that is having trouble getting into rooms to please change there NAT setting on there routor to open not strict it will make gameplay so much easier and we should get through with less drama’s.
And secondly any ideas on a formot where we have less people in rooms but it is still fair and everyone gets to race. Next week I think I will go into the night with a back up format.

Hey guys I don't know what sort of download/upload speeds you guys get on your broadband, That could be some of the problem from the hosts aswell. Not making excuses, I got totally smoked tuesday night but there was lag. When the gate dropped you guys were already going through the first turn and i hadn't left the start line.

i have the same speed as AussieMongrel but i dont think it is the internet, i think its either of these 2 things. 1. the servers we are joining up to are crap and none of us can get a good connection. 2. THQ or who over made mx vs atv reflex didnt put much time into coding there online system.
