Oz MX: MNSW rules out 15-year-olds in Under 19 series //

Williams Event Management (WEM) has announced that due to a ruling by the Motorcycling New South Wales (MNSW) Board, 15-year-old riders will not be permitted to compete as series entries in the Under 19 class in the 2010 Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals.

WEM director and series promoter Kevin Williams released the following statement regarding the change.

“It is with great disappointment that WEM announces we cannot accept 15-year-old riders as series entries for the Under 19 class due to a lack of support from the Board of MNSW,” Williams said.

“WEM will still accept round entries from riders and rounds not based in NSW, however as we do not wish to go against the decision of the MNSW Board we will not be accepting any entries from any 15-year-old riders from NSW.”

The first round of the 2010 Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals kicks off on Sunday 28 March at Horsham in Victoria.
