RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS (please read carefully):
* This tournament is currently limited to Playstation 3 players.
* Entrants must be members on MotoOnline.com.au.
* The entry limit will be 16 riders at this stage as we develop the tournament.
* Entries close at midday on race day with no exceptions.
* Upon entering, state your username on our forum and also add each of our participants as friends on the Playstation Network for invitations to the games.
* Nominated hosts will host the games and invite riders approximately 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time. The race will start at the exact listed start time (as long as the PS Network is functioning correctly), so if you're not online then you forfeit the round.
* All riders must quit the private session following your heat race and remain patient while waiting for the main events before we invite you to the main that you qualified for.
* Should anybody have trouble entering the private room after more than three invites then the event will go ahead without you for the round.
* Note that if any of us lose our internet connection and are kicked out of the room during the final then we will be scored with last place points for the round.
* If the host is kicked out during the session if it is the main event then continue and inform us of the final results afterwards.
* Should a dedicated round host not be featured in either the A-Main or B-Main, we will organise one of the participants in that particular final to host the race. Hosts will work this out between us and then all participants will receive the invite to their particular final from an entrant within the round.
* If you are not invited to your main event due to not being on our selected hosts friends list then you will miss out, so make sure you add everyone early in the week so all have time to accept the friend requests!
* If there is some sort of a mistake on the evening and you are invited to the wrong final by accident, relax it is only a game. Accept it, try your best and we will sort out your points following the round.
NOTES:
* Final instructions will be posted on MotoOnline.com.au in this thread before 6.00pm NSW time on the day of the race, confirming the final entry list, confirming the running of the event, listing your heat race allocation and nominated host for that particular event.
* A race report will be added directly after the round including details for when the following round will be held and at what track it will be staged at.
Good luck to all and thanks for supporting the series and MotoOnline.com.au!

Hey Alex I posted this in the round 8 topic but I'll post it again here:
Hey guys this is my first post on MotoOnline. Recently picked up a PS3 and Reflex and have been playing online (when it works…) and read about this comp in Dirt Action. Is it too late to join in with you guys as trying to find riders online is sometimes hard.
I have added all the guys off vitalmx forum but with the different time zones I rarely find them online when I’m playing.
Also, being new to PS3, I havn’t worked out how to download the new tracks. Any help in that area would be appreciated.
My PS3 name is Nelso_19
Cheers, Col

Hey mate,
I'll get you on the list no worries. Your best bet is to go through the entry list and add everyone on the PS3 - playing in a private room is waaay better than the regular online play.
You have to download the new track via the Playstation Store online I'm pretty sure, I haven't done it yet either.
If you do have troubles download the new tracks, don't sweat because we'll be moving on to the Nationals in a few weeks!
Thanks for joining in mate!
Alex

Thanks Alex
I agree private rooms are way better than the regular rooms - it's just that it's usually only 2 or 3 players in a private race so it will be fun to be in with some more riders.
You were right about the download. I just did it through the PS online store. Very easy - just hand over the Credit Card...
The race starts at 7.15 our time in not-so-sunny QLD so hopefully I will get home from work in time...
Thanks for your help
Cheers

Im pretty sure only the host needs to have downloaded the new tracks to be able to invite everyone else to the session, but still a good idea to download them to get some practice in for the race.
What was said in Dirt Action about the comp MCfan????

You will need to download the DLC content to be able to race the new tracks, if the host has the tracks and you dont you will get a message saying you require the DLC and be kicked out the session.
Spent two hours online with Dan last night trying to break the 1.08 flat mark, we both got it myslef by just .4 of a second, think Dan (Ubber) is now only .1 of a sec of getting intothe 1.06s
Only problem with this track is a missed jump can mean the differenc between a 1.07 abd a 1.12

Yeah last night was good we must of put in over 50 laps one after the other and just followed each others lines in hope to get under 1:07 which we both did succesfully at around midnight lol
Consistency is definetly key for tomorrow night. Hopefully the track holds up alrite

Doova
New DA (April '10) pg 131. Matt Bernard does a review of the game and mentions that you guys have an online comp going. I don't know Matt's PS3 name but he says in the mag that he's claimed a win in your series.
iKap I will be sure to battle you for last place. I've only had my PS3 and the game for a month and am still learning the ropes. I too have not turned a lap on Boxcar...should be interesting...

Thanks for the ass kicking guys!!!
Seriously, that has got to be the worst track on Reflex. It didn't help that I hadn't ridden it before but man it sure is a hard track to get a rythem going. But we all raced the same track and I just sucked!!! I must have had 20 crashes in that main. I got so shitty towards the end I crashed about 5 times in 1 lap towards the end...very frustrating.
I can't believe some of you are running 1.07's!!! Are you cutting the track or what??? Cause that sure is flyin..... I think I got down to a 1.11 or 1.12 by the end of it but 1.07 is crazy fast!!!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next race.
Cheers, Col

ROUND 9 RACE RESULTS AND REPORT
TRACK: Boxcar
RACE RESULTS:
The first of the downloaded tracks brought to you by GEICO Powersports was staged in tonight's ninth round of the MotoOnline.com.au SX Reflex Series, with Boxcar proving a spectacular night of racing where Aaryn234 took his maiden series victory. The South Australian won the penultimate round in fine style after a battle with fellow SA rider Uberfragger, finishing up second and sealing the inaugural championship for 2010. It was a battle all the way to the finish for the South Aussies, while mxkid24 took a superb podium in yet another race-long dice with AG23 and the returning YU_128 - making his first appearance in the series for a number of weeks. YU faded like a cheap pair of blue jeans late in the race after comfortably holding third early on, although both first and second place finishers lapped every other rider in the field. Rounding out the night's finishers in his debut was Nelso_19, quickly learning the track after transferring directly to the main event after a lack of numbers. The big battle for next weekend's season finale will be between Aaryn and Doova for the number two plate, while grimdog was yet another no show but has vowed to be back for the Nationals. troythreesix was ready to race but doesn't have the DLC tracks downloaded just yet! See you next week for the finale!

Col cheers for joining us tonight mate. The more people the better, and you did good for your first time on that track.
You would be surprised but if you can do a good lap with no mistakes 1:07's come easy but with one mistake you are looking at 1:10+. i got a 1:06..67 around there with no mistakes except for hitting a tuff block.

There was a lack of riders again tonight, possibly cos we are on the downloaded tracks that cost extra $$$ now, but hopefully it picks up again for the Nationals when people think they have a fresh shot at the title lol. Congrats Dan!!!

Hey guys, looks like the extended tracks has killed the series.
Can't make it this week. I'm going to be somewhere near Ballina when I need to be at home.
I will try and get back the last place trophy in the Outdoors..LOL.
We need to run it during the week as I know Its going to be hard to make each Sunday.
AG23-you need to run an a poll to work out the best day of the week for the Nats.
My vote: Wednesday

Pretty sure the Nationals will be on a Tuesday or Thursday night iKap, if its not locked in I'll vote Tues or Thurs is good for me.
The Nationals are going to be sic, there will be so many different winners, its so hard to make up time on them if you crash, so anyone can win, I always get smoked but still cant wait.
But before then I'll be going for SX win #3 at Switchyard!!!!!
