RD8 ROUND INFORMATION SHEET

PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE:
Date - Sunday, 28 February 2010
Time - Heats commence at 8:15pm NSW time (log on to PS Network by 8.05pm)
Track - Manchester Round 2
Format - 2 x 8 lap heats, 1 x 20 lap B-Main, 1 x 20 lap A-Main (both heats and both main events will run simultaneously)
Hosts - AG23 or Aaryn234 and Doova930 (please add these user names and all participants in the event on the PS Network so we can invite you to the event). If either of these hosts are in a main event then we will organise another host to invite participants into the game - this is why you need to add every participant in the series on your PS Network.

QUALIFYING FORMAT (DEPENDING ON NUMBER OF ENTRANTS):
Entries = Heats (number of riders)
8 = 1 (8 x heat one)
9 = 2 (4 x heat one, 5 x heat two)
10 = 2 (5 x in each heat)
11 = 2 (5 x heat one, 6 x heat two)
12 = 2 (6 x in each heat)
13 = 2 (6 x heat one, 7 x heat two)
14 = 2 (7 x in each heat)
15 = 2 (7 x heat one, 8 x heat two)
16 = 2 (8 x in each heat)

There will be an 8 rider maximum for the main events. The top four from each heat will transfer to the A-Main. The remaining riders will be transferred to the B-Main.

HEAT SEEDING STRUCTURE:
Heat 1 will feature riders ranked 1-3-5-7-9 in the points and will be filled with a random allocation at our discretion.

Heat 2 will feature riders ranked 2-4-6-8-10 in the points and will be filled with a random allocation at our discretion.

Note that all heat races participants will be announced and finalised with the final instructions on race day as per below Rules and Instructions.

POINT STRUCTURE:
A-Main: 1st = 25 points, 2nd = 22 points, 3rd = 20 points, 4th = 18 points, 5th = 16 points, 6th = 15 points, 7th = 14 points, 8th = 13 points

B-Main: 1st = 12 points, 2nd = 11 points, 3rd = 10 points, 4th = 9 points, 5th = 8 points, 6th = 7 points, 7th = 6 points, 8th = 5 points

Also note that entries are limited to 16 for now as we iron out any kinks. We may consider expanding this in the future.

RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS (please read carefully):

* This tournament is currently limited to Playstation 3 players.

* Entrants must be members on MotoOnline.com.au.

* The entry limit will be 16 riders at this stage as we develop the tournament.

* Entries close at midday on race day with no exceptions.

* Upon entering, state your username on our forum and also add each of our participants as friends on the Playstation Network for invitations to the games.

* Nominated hosts will host the games and invite riders approximately 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time. The race will start at the exact listed start time (as long as the PS Network is functioning correctly), so if you're not online then you forfeit the round.

* All riders must quit the private session following your heat race and remain patient while waiting for the main events before we invite you to the main that you qualified for.

* Should anybody have trouble entering the private room after more than three invites then the event will go ahead without you for the round.

* Note that if any of us lose our internet connection and are kicked out of the room during the final then we will be scored with last place points for the round.

* If the host is kicked out during the session if it is the main event then continue and inform us of the final results afterwards.

* Should a dedicated round host not be featured in either the A-Main or B-Main, we will organise one of the participants in that particular final to host the race. Hosts will work this out between us and then all participants will receive the invite to their particular final from an entrant within the round.

* If you are not invited to your main event due to not being on our selected hosts friends list then you will miss out, so make sure you add everyone early in the week so all have time to accept the friend requests!

* If there is some sort of a mistake on the evening and you are invited to the wrong final by accident, relax it is only a game. Accept it, try your best and we will sort out your points following the round.

NOTES:
* Final instructions will be posted on MotoOnline.com.au in this thread before 6.00pm NSW time on the day of the race, confirming the final entry list, confirming the running of the event, listing your heat race allocation and nominated host for that particular event.

* A race report will be added directly after the round including details for when the following round will be held and at what track it will be staged at.

RACE REPORT:
The night got off to a shaky start with only 5 riders show up to the main event as all the other factory teams got lost along the way. Uberfragger jumped out of the gate well and pulled the hole shot but was caught by Aaryn234 after about 1 lap. Uber and Aaryn brought a new meaning to bar banging as the battled for 14 of the 20 laps with Doova rounding out the top 3. Mxkid24 took the heat race win but in the main event couldn't put together 20 solid laps as he slipped down the ranks to finish 4th ahead of ashfmx.

Final instructions for round six to be posted through the week. The top riders in the points will get preference in the entries and we will select extras upon entry. If riders are not going to play then please inform us so we can fit replacements in.

Doova's streak is broken! Going to be a big week next week on the downloaded tracks! Can't wait to be back in the mix,

We'll be back on track from this week onwards, so all you guys who have been leaving the PS3 off turn it back on - especially for the Nationals that'll be held on a weekday so there's not so many event conflicts!

The downloaded tracks arent to good im not a fan of the supercross

All the tracks are one lined so there will be alot of bar banging these next few races

switch back or box car ? which one are we doing first,

Box car has a few lines can make a big difference getting some harder combos done. i dont mind the new tracks still very inconsistant on both of them

I'll be away this week guys, so I'll have to give it a miss. So make it Boxcar this week, that track sucks ass!!!!!!

and i was trying to work out how to close the gap on Doova, just need a 3rd place this weekend to make the final round a winner takes 2nd all out race lol

Hey guys this is my first post on MotoOnline. Recently picked up a PS3 and Reflex and have been playing online (when it works...) and read about this in Dirt Action. Is it too late to join in with you guys as trying to find riders online is sometimes hard.

I have added all the guys off vitalmx forum but with the different time zones I rarely find them online when I'm playing.

Also, being new to PS#, I havn't worked how to download the new tracks. Any help in that area would be appreciated.
