2010 MOTOONLINE.COM.AU SX REFLEX SERIES
RD6 ROUND INFORMATION SHEET
PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE:
Date - Sunday, 14 February 2010
Time - Heats commence at 8:15pm NSW time (log on to PS Network by 8.05pm)
Track - Fort Dodge 1
Format - 2 x 8 lap heats, 1 x 20 lap B-Main, 1 x 20 lap A-Main (both heats and both main events will run simultaneously)
Hosts - AG23 and Doova930 (please add these user names and all participants in the event on the PS Network so we can invite you to the event). If either of these hosts aren't in a main event then we will organise another host to invite participants into the game - this is why you need to add every participant in the series on your PS Network.
QUALIFYING FORMAT (DEPENDING ON NUMBER OF ENTRANTS):
Entries = Heats (number of riders)
8 = 1 (8 x heat one)
9 = 2 (4 x heat one, 5 x heat two)
10 = 2 (5 x in each heat)
11 = 2 (5 x heat one, 6 x heat two)
12 = 2 (6 x in each heat)
13 = 2 (6 x heat one, 7 x heat two)
14 = 2 (7 x in each heat)
15 = 2 (7 x heat one, 8 x heat two)
16 = 2 (8 x in each heat)
There will be an 8 rider maximum for the main events. The top four from each heat will transfer to the A-Main. The remaining riders will be transferred to the B-Main.
HEAT SEEDING STRUCTURE:
Heat 1 will feature riders ranked 1-3-5-7-9 in the points and will be filled with a random allocation at our discretion.
Heat 2 will feature riders ranked 2-4-6-8-10 in the points and will be filled with a random allocation at our discretion.
Note that all heat races participants will be announced and finalised with the final instructions on race day as per below Rules and Instructions.

A-Main: 1st = 25 points, 2nd = 22 points, 3rd = 20 points, 4th = 18 points, 5th = 16 points, 6th = 15 points, 7th = 14 points, 8th = 13 points
B-Main: 1st = 12 points, 2nd = 11 points, 3rd = 10 points, 4th = 9 points, 5th = 8 points, 6th = 7 points, 7th = 6 points, 8th = 5 points

RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS (please read carefully):
* This tournament is currently limited to Playstation 3 players.
* Entrants must be members on MotoOnline.com.au.
* The entry limit will be 16 riders at this stage as we develop the tournament.
* Entries close at midday on race day with no exceptions.
* Upon entering, state your username on our forum and also add each of our participants as friends on the Playstation Network for invitations to the games.
* Nominated hosts will host the games and invite riders approximately 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time. The race will start at the exact listed start time (as long as the PS Network is functioning correctly), so if you're not online then you forfeit the round.
* All riders must quit the private session following your heat race and remain patient while waiting for the main events before we invite you to the main that you qualified for.
* Should anybody have trouble entering the private room after more than three invites then the event will go ahead without you for the round.
* Note that if any of us lose our internet connection and are kicked out of the room during the final then we will be scored with last place points for the round.
* If the host is kicked out during the session if it is the main event then continue and inform us of the final results afterwards.
* Should a dedicated round host not be featured in either the A-Main or B-Main, we will organise one of the participants in that particular final to host the race. Hosts will work this out between us and then all participants will receive the invite to their particular final from an entrant within the round.
* If you are not invited to your main event due to not being on our selected host's friends list then you will miss out, so make sure you add everyone early in the week so all have time to accept the friend requests!
* If there is some sort of a mistake on the evening and you are invited to the wrong final by accident, relax it is only a game. Accept it, try your best and we will sort out your points following the round.
NOTES:
* Final instructions will be posted on MotoOnline.com.au in this thread before 6.00pm NSW time on the day of the race, confirming the final entry list, confirming the running of the event, listing your heat race allocation and nominated host for that particular event.
* A race report will be added directly after the round including details for when the following round will be held and at what track it will be staged at.

Bad news guys, I'm out for this round!!! Have to go to Phillip Island... revised host in my place will be advised for this round. Doova and Aaryn better get all the points they can for the round, because I'm still going to finish number two in the series haha.
I was thinking that maybe for the Nationals and future series (too late for this one) we should do it so you can drop your worst round, that way any work or family commitments won't rule you completely out of the series if it happens just once. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it anyways!

for nationals we have to run a 2 moto format with the overall decided with the combined points of both races

yeah dropping your worst round is a good idea, or two rounds if you have Doova's internet connection! Come on Alex tell us the truth, you are just feeling sorry for me and Doova.
Looking foward to the outdoors, will have to patch up the walls in the lounge room before it starts, so i can make some fresh ones for the winter!

So how did we go guys??? Sorry for the stuff around on this event, had a last minute call to Phillip Island so I was travelling today and didn't have service to post the final instructions.

AWESOME RACE!!! i managed to lead for 7 laps. then had a bit of a battle with doova and the manage to pull the thing over the line in 3rd!!! o yeah wish i could ride like that every week.

i was coming for you Timmy the hole race lol, good start then tenced up heart rate went through the roof and made some mistakes, Doova got me then Ubber, caught onto the bike of Timmy a few times then would go down, happy with 4th not a big fan of that track, think i ran the fastest lap time, anyone beat a low 1.10?

Doova's qualifier:
I got the holeshot and lead for 200m this time then got swamped by Doovie and Uberfag then lost my mind trying to keep it straight once I got it back together ICE_ICe_Baby past me and it was all smooth sailing from there (no-one to take me out etc) 4th place was mine and no one was going to take it!
1st - Doova - 12:48.39 (best lap 1:11.65)
2nd - Uberfragger - 13:02.79 (best lap 1:11.29)
3rd - ICE__64 - 13:19.62 (best lap 1:13.71)
4th - iKapture - too far back for a time (LOL) (best lap 1:22.48)
No "B" main and no "A" main invite??..... that sucked a little ;-(

Ha ha... It's a bit hard when I'm not in control of the invites. It's a bit like being picked last at school...LOL!! If anyone had any brains they'd pick me first because I'm no threat for the win...LOL..
There's always next week.
AG23 - My thoughts for the Outdoors is that it's done on a Tuesday / Thursday night about 8-8:30pm or later (that might keep the kids away..LOL!). I'm not liking my chances if it's going to be held on sundays all year.

RACE REPORT:
Doova shook of his 2 weeks of bad internet connection to come out in the A main event and win, closely followed by uberfragger and the surprise performance from the young gun Ice_64 who is now looking at a factory ride after this podium performance. Aaryn234 had trouble at the start but put in some solid laps and pulled the fastest lap time of the night with a high 1:10. Ashfmx had problems defining the difference between flags as he battled with the leaders even though he was a lap down (sorry mate lol). Caos couldnt pass up the $2 beers at the local pub tonight and as a result was found passed out in the factory truck and was unable to swing his leg over the bike for tonight's race. Ikapture was once again denied entry and now he is bringing in the lawyers to sort things out. Big surprise was AG23 not showing up to his own tournament because hes putting his lively hood above online racing. Rumor has it that due to the fact that he looked as though he could not take the title a made up test at Phillip island was the perfect excuse not to ride on a night where the championship was in the balance (had to do it mate). The points chase is tightening up and the top 5 positions are still all up for grabs.
Well done tonight guys, spewing we didn't have the numbers we normally would.

And sorry Mitch, I sent you so many invites but sometimes the PS Network stuffs up and doesn't let people in, it seems to be affected if other people are using the Net in your same household aswell, so if bros or sisters are using PS3 or surfing the net it seems to stuff up more
Tuesday or Thursdays good for me aswell, I always make sure the kids are always in bed before 8pm on a Sunday night in the Doova household lol
Apparently the DLC pack for the PS3 will be released on the 25th of Feb, heres an update from there Facebook page-
"We all know there’s been a lot of frustration over not being able to get the DLC packs if you’re on a PS3 and overseas. After doing some investigating it looks like there was a miscommunication on when it was supposed to be released. With that being said, there is bad news and somewhat good news. Bad news is that DLC is currently slated to be released March 11th. The good news is that we’ve been working with Sony and they were able to pull the date in to February 25th which is only two short weeks away.
Xbox was unaffected by this and should be available for download. No we aren’t playing favorites, it just happened to go down this way"

DLC just in time! next week is K1 then Man 2 then DLC should see us run the new track with minimal practice we could stil lbe sorting out lines and combos come race time! Tue Thursday is good for me for nats.

Sorry I sent you an invite - Now I've heard it all!! I was ripped and a bit surprised... AG hasn't even acknowledged it - You all suck and I think it's time for me to start a rival race series! It will be a series that has minimum lap time and if you go faster you don't get an invite into the "C" main. You guys are no-where!

Doova - I've almost forgotten about the Doovering you gave me at Stone Point R1 keep up the complments and you never know...
AG23 is at Phillip Island because it's Valentines day and he's married to the circuit - no one else is down there (weirdo)..LOL!
