At least it isn't another alcohol sponsor. Alcohol + motorbikes just shouldn't be affiliated.

The Kelly Brothers Racing Jack Daniels V8 Supercar livery was recently voted as the best looking car in the sport, so the alcohol sponsorships do seem to attract some general fans. I don't drink alcohol or energy drinks, but surely there are just as many health concerns for the energy drinks out there.

It might look good AG BUT it really doesn't send a good message to the young ones of today. Has nobody here ever got done for drink driving? Or maybe, lost a loved one from a drunk driver! Great watching the news and seeing those 5 boys in Victoria killed and so many other accidents caused by drunk drivers. I stand by what I said before and that is Alcohol + Motor Vehicles (of any kind) DO NOT MIX!!

JED you have it all wrong alcohol and cars mix nicely, they go very fast when run on alcohol.
Alcohol and stupid people don't mix, alcohol and clever people mix fine.......
Stupid people will ALWAYS be stupid people, whether they see the alcohol advertising or not.
More people die from obesity related issues than alcohol.
What about Motologic with their Motobet sponsor, any gambling addicts around motorcycle racing.
Free for all I say, if you're too stupid to make your own decisions about whether to have another drink or not, my friend Darwin is looking for you......

Either way, if alco adverts is bad for the racing, having a transport company as the sponsor should be good for this trek to Hidden Valley we would hope!

AG do we know what Konsky offers as contingency for teams travelling to far away places? Does this transport companies involvement benefit the team? You would hope so.

yes it will. I need a few days to provide the NT package. I can say that there will be two transporters taking bikes up free of charge.

Any sponsorship is good sponsorship for the sport. Ciggies on the Duke, Playboy on LCR honda, im anble to make a concious choice and have no desire to have that right taken away from me. next the petol companies will be baned for killing the planet with polution!

Sup Penn, prep is looking ay ok thank you, would love a little more time on these new control tyres, but hey, everybody is in the same boat.... Hope to do my 3rd ride on the superbike on 15th at the island : ) . I am not stressed about times at the minute because of all the learning I must do before the opener, all I no is that I will be giving my 110% to get to front by years end. 5 nights a week training should ensure I am fit haha . So yeah I am ready for a fun season !! I have no idea about the other riders... in regards to what they are up too, I am very sure they will be working as hard to sort themselves out to ride a motorcycle. You here a lot of things about everyone else but it's very hard to filter the truth you no. Rapt that Starro is back on board a Superbike !

Hi Guys,
Yeah it's looking like a really strong feild this year!
I was down at the Island yesterday on my maiden test on the Ducati Motologic Racing 1198R. We had the new exhaust fitted to her and she sounded awesome!! i've never really ridden a ducati FAST before and i can tell you, it's pretty different to riding something like i was on last year.. i was trying to describe to some of the people yesterday after my first session what it was like trying to get used to it and i think the biggest difference when trying to get a 'feel' for the bike was that coming from inline 4's, you really get used to the sounds they all make and where the 'sweet spots' are with them. on a V twin, the element of sound when listening for familiar sweet spot noises is all but lost and takes a while to get used to!
The bike did feel fast and makes good ground of of the flowwing corners. we havent changed anything yet but my times were getting good and only .7 off where jamie was on his first day so we are pretty happy thus far with that. i only had the one set on control tyres there for the day and they didnt last any more than two sessions which was a shame!
Looking forward to getting some more go fast stuff done to it and smashing it out for world supers! Scottie C was on his suzuki and that looked dialled in more or less, my team mate Jamie was very quick once again, waters, all the suzuki guys loooked good, Staring i didnt see much of on track, The KTM boys were out there and looked comfortable.
also guys im doing up my website at the moment so check in on that frequently soem lots of updates onw here we are at and multimedia clips fromt he track, training and all that sort of jazz. www.jordyburgess.com it's under construction at the moment as you will be able to see but it's getting there!!
peace
jordy.

on the alcohol thang, I love it,...in fact it would be un-Australian not to love it.
It is fun and sooooooo much better than another smelly, bloody oil company who do nothing but fark up the world.
Bring on the booze and tell the cigs and oil barons to fark off!

Has anyone going to Hidden Valley got room for a flaggie?
I can probably afford 1 tank of juice (for a car, not a semi :)> )
I've worked at ASBK rounds in every state, but still haven't been to the NT.
Contact junkmale@bikerider.com if you have room for me.
