RD4 ROUND INFORMATION SHEET
PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE:
Date – Sunday, 31 January 2010
Time – Heats commence at 8:15pm NSW time (log in to PS Network by 8.05pm)
Track – Kingston 2
Format – 2 x 8 lap heats, 1 x 15 lap B-Main, 1 x 15 lap A-Main (events will run simultaneously)
Hosts – AG23 and Doova930 (please add these user names and all participants in the event on the PS Network so we can invite you to the event). If either of these hosts aren't in a main event then we will organise another host to invite participants into the game – this is why you need to add every participant in the series on your PS Network.
QUALIFYING FORMAT (DEPENDING ON NUMBER OF ENTRANTS):
Entries = Heats (number of riders)
8 = 1 (8 x heat one)
9 = 2 (4 x heat one, 5 x heat two)
10 = 2 (5 x in each heat)
11 = 2 (5 x heat one, 6 x heat two)
12 = 2 (6 x in each heat)
13 = 2 (6 x heat one, 7 x heat two)
14 = 2 (7 x in each heat)
15 = 2 (7 x heat one, 8 x heat two)
16 = 2 (8 x in each heat)
There will be an 8 rider maximum for the main events. The top four from each heat will transfer to the A-Main. The remaining riders will be transferred to the B-Main.
HEAT SEEDING STRUCTURE:
Heat 1 will feature riders ranked 1-3-5-7-9 in the points and will be filled with a random allocation at our discretion.
Heat 2 will feature riders ranked 2-4-6-8-10 in the points and will be filled with a random allocation at our discretion.
Note that all heat races participants will be announced and finalised with the final instructions on race day as per below Rules and Instructions.

A-Main: 1st = 25 points, 2nd = 22 points, 3rd = 20 points, 4th = 18 points, 5th = 16 points, 6th = 15 points, 7th = 14 points, 8th = 13 points
B-Main: 1st = 12 points, 2nd = 11 points, 3rd = 10 points, 4th = 9 points, 5th = 8 points, 6th = 7 points, 7th = 6 points, 8th = 5 points

RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS (please read carefully):
* This tournament is currently limited to Playstation 3 players.
* Entrants must be members on MotoOnline.com.au.
* The entry limit will be 16 riders at this stage as we develop the tournament.
* Entries close on Saturday at midnight of the race day with no exceptions.
* Upon entering, state your username on our forum and also add each of our participants as friends on the Playstation Network for invitations to the games.
* Nominated hosts will host the games and invite riders approximately 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time. The race will start at the exact listed start time (as long as the PS Network is functioning correctly), so if you're not online then you forfeit the round.
* All riders must quit the private session following your heat race and remain patient while waiting for the main events before we invite you to the main that you qualified for.
* Should anybody have trouble entering the private room after more than three invites then the event will go ahead without you for the round.
* Note that if any of us lose our internet connection and are kicked out of the room during the final then we will be scored with last place points for the round.
* If the host is kicked out during the session if it is the main event then continue and inform us of the final results afterwards.
* Should a dedicated round host not be featured in either the A-Main or B-Main, we will organise one of the participants in that particular final to host the race. Hosts will work this out between us and then all participants will receive the invite to their particular final from an entrant within the round.
* If you are not invited to your main event due to not being on our selected host's friends list then you will miss out, so make sure you add everyone early in the week so all have time to accept the friend requests!
* If there is some sort of a mistake on the evening and you are invited to the wrong final by accident, RELAX it is only a game. Accept it, try your best and we will sort out your points following the round.
NOTES:
* Final instructions will be posted on MotoOnline.com.au in this thread before 6.00pm NSW time on the day of the race, confirming the final entry list, confirming the running of the event, listing your heat race allocation and nominated host for that particular event.
* A race report will be added directly after the round including details for when the following round will be held and at what track it will be staged at.

I want win number two this Sunday boys haha. I think uber stuck that #1 on his plates a little too early, cos I'm coming for him! lol. My best lap around there is only 1:53, but I plan on doing it all 15 laps in the main event lol. 100 bucks grimdog crashes in the first corner....

Mate with my points lead i need a consistent top 3 all season and then your all in trouble
I just started year 12 so i figured ill run the #1 now because i wont be able to play as much so im going to lose it in the next few weeks lol already got homework on the first day it sucks
NOTE: I still want to race sundays but ill be extremely loose because I wont be able to practice much.

hey none of you guys are using cheats are you?..........I've never been close enough to see...........but I watched last night as a spectator, and I'm pretty sure there were cheats being used by some of our entrants.....

I wish I had a cheat lol. I spent hours and hours of frustration before I could get a clean lap without crashing while still carrying momentum. I still crash most of the time, but luckily enough it seems that most other people do too! What did ya see that looked like a cheat mate???

Nah no cheats used
As a spectator you see the rider differently on your screen than what it looks like on there screen just because of the connection.
Cheats are gay take the fun out of the game.

I agree...........but how do you do backflips from a standing start?
and when they come out of corners and start to go off the track they somehow come back on without cartwheeling?
I'm sure no ones doing it in the race............but are there cheats that let you do this?

Yeh as a spectator I think all the movements are exagerated because it looks heaps different, the 1st time I was a spectator I even thought that I might have been watching a computer PS3 demo sort of thing until I actually raced guys that I spectatored from.
Cheats are CRAP, I cant understand why they even build them into games, I agree with you guys that they take the fun out of the game. I used to think the same as you Caos and even tryed Googleing some to see if they exsist but the only cheat I could find is the one where it lets you use Justin Brayton. Theres nothing more frustating then being in a tight battle with someone and they cartwheel off the track going into a corner and then when you exit the same corner you see them 20 metres in front of you again, I've had some guys do it 4-5 time a lap and I still get beaten, I think it could be something to do with the connection.
So a big 100% NO, Im not using cheats
My best lap is a 1.48 I did against Uber last night (and AG, I "plan" on doing them for all 15 laps of the main haha)

How much can I buy them for??? I'll get a pack of 8 and I know I'll need every single one of them!
My best = A full lap with only 1 crash LOL!
Uberfagger seems to run off the track when he's lapping me but I never see where the hell he goes... I don't think he's cheating he just that bloody fast you can't see where he's gone.

I can assure you guys I dont cheat and never have in the tournament. Its just connection issues and your seeing it differently to how i see it on my tv. The worst is when they knock tuff blocks onto the track after re entering the corner
Doova I did a 1:47.81 before school today but i think 1:51-53 is more realistic for 15 laps
Hope my connection fixes itself so i can play properly

So who's ready to rock tomorrow night? Doova is eager for win #1, iKapture is looking for a start in the A-main, caos will be half pissed again, Aaryn is going to be taken down by TIMMY and uber is gonna lose his internet connection on lap 14 of the main event lol.

Think i will have to work on some bike set up for this track, Dan is going to be very hard to beat, put 20seconds on me and Doova in four laps last night! im only good for a 1.56sec around there that was without getting the last rytham section dialed, so maybe a 1.54 to 1.53 at best.
All last night i could not get that rytham section, then the one time i got into it sweet so loose cannon on #930 swaps sideways and stops across the track right underneith me, Ill call him James from now on LOL.
Might jump on for some practice shortly.

cool if i can run on a smooth track, and you on a rough track the race will be close lol. I has Stonepoint 1 dialled last night, all four laps under 1.02, and not one clean lap, im going to put a clean lap in there one day and finally run under 1 minute!
Hard to belive that stonepoint 1 is a longer track than sugar ridge MX, cant wait to run that track during the out door series. 30 lap motos for the outdoors? or with the Mains be two 15-20 lappers ran back to back! To bad you cant have times races, every race 30mins plus a lap that would be cool

Ok got my best lap down to a 1.50 flat, Messed up the big rytham section out the back on that lap aswell, think a 1.49 or 1.48 is now doable. Have inside and outside rythams sorted for every section now. Will be on a different color bike this weekend aswell!

Yeh I remember that race Aaryn, I did the outside triple and landed on a tuff block and it spat me sideways across the track and I looked at the counter to see how far you were behind and then BAM, you hit me hahaha
