Aussie Michael Byrne will stand in for Josh Grant at Joe Gibbs Racing Yamaha for at least the next six-eight weeks. Good news after our interview with him last week, where he said he was able to join a team if they needed him since he's been a full privateer at the first couple of rounds.
Now he's gone from Suzuki in AMA MX, Honda in Super X, Kawasaki privateer at the start of AMA SX and now Yamaha. Unreal! Let's hope he can get comfortable on the bike and make the most of it while it lasts.

It's also been rumoured that he will now be riding Reed's Kawasaki while he is gets surgery on his hand after last weekend's crash. Burner didn't last as a privateer for long if it all does in fact happen!

Alex, are you able to confirm what and who Michael will be riding for before Rd 3? Hopefully this may lead to something more permanent for the outdoors as well.

Not at this stage mate, will post something as soon as we hear. The boys at DA did say that he got stitches in his arm after a crash at Phoenix last weekend though!

Is it possible to get a run down on the JGR Yamaha Byrner rides and compare this to the Kawasaki he started with? I know it's a big ask Alex but would make great reading.
