Anaheim I is coming up on 9 January to open up the 2010 racing season for AMA Supercross. Will Reedy have what it takes to get his number 1 plate back from Stewart??? Will JS7 be fully recovered from his sickness, has Reedy got the Kawi dialed in? Can't wait for this one!!!

I think Villopoto and maybe even Grant will be darkhorses, plus Millsaps actually looked pretty good at Brisbane Super X. Hopefully Reardon has adjusted to the new Yamaha 450 by now!
Track maps are here: http://www.supercrossonline.com/tracks/index_html
Schedule is here: http://www.supercrossonline.com/supercrossu/SupercrossTeams/showList
Tracks look pretty technical for 2010!

I hate to say it, but I think if Bubba can win at A1, he will sweep the whole series, he always seems to be too anxious at the 1st round and makes stupid mistakes, but has had heaps of time to test his new bike and will come out swinging.
I think the racing between 2-5 will be crazy this year though
GO REEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope it's not a Bubba sweep! Will be interesting to see Reedy up against the big boys on the Kawasaki, but I really hope that Reardon can put on a good show on the Yami in the MotoConcepts team. Really hard to say how Villopoto will go, but he did finish last year strong!

Think the same Doova, if Chad can get the better of James early in the season in a couple of races it will be on, If james goes out and wins the first 2 or 3 easy we could see the first every 17 race SX sweep followed by a 24 moto outdoor sweep. And as boring as that would be and as much as that would suck that Chad or the other Aussies are not winning, and the fact that it would hurt the sport, it would be cool to see that done in this life time, one of those historic events and if anyone can do it ever it would be James.
Think Villo will be the only guy that could challenge them in SX even then i doubt it, as long as Chad and James start in the top 5-10 each race no one stands a chance.

I can't see a clean sweep this season. Ask any rider look at the interviews winning all three Anaheims is a mean effort.
I agree bubba will be hard to beat . Villopoto and Reed are green with envy (literally) that will be on.
Grant , Langston , Lawrence ( if josh hill can win one lawrence is a shoe in) , Millsaps , Short , Tedesco, Hill
One big name that hasnt been mentioned is Dungey I believe got on the box first 450sx out
cant wait

Yeh Dungey will be up there for sure, I saw a video of him online about 2 months ago testing SX, and he looked super smooth then, and alot haven't really mentioned him on other sites, so the pressure is off, I think he'll up there dicing with Reedy and RV for sure.
I think JLaw will crash out of the series 1st or 2nd round with not enough bike time trying to beat his mate Dungey

Was there even much of an illness for Stwart to get over or was he just being soft pulling out of the Super X?
Looks like it should be a good year anyway, hows Moss looking since his injury?

I think he just had a low immune system or something that didn't permit for him to travel overseas or anything in case he got sick before the main series, but rest since then may have fixed it! Who knows if it was true or not.... Mossy will probably be back between rounds five to 10 I'd say as a guess. Hopefully he doesn't take long to get back to the level he was at.

I'm not brave, or smart enough to guess a top 5 but my top 3 is
1) Vilopoto
2) Stewart
3) Milsaps
I'm going on the trend of opening round suprises, reed might go down while leading.

I really hope Reedy comes out strong this year, it's too boring if Stewart dominates. Not long to wait now. I saw on Josh Hill's Twitter that he reckons Hansen is going to be the West coast Lites champ.

Stewart fastest from Dungey in qualifying, both 56.8, Josh Hill third at 57.2 and Reardon ninth at 58.3. Reed 17th with a 1:02 but he only did six laps. Grant looks to be out - zero laps in the second qualifier.
Weimer, Anstie and Hansen fastest in the Lites.

Grant is racing after all, Reed has a stomach issue again that forced him back to his motorhome and Villopoto has a tweaked wrist but will race. Let's hope CR is right for tonight's racing!

Big crash for Reardon in heat one of the opens, went over the berm flying while in the top three and has been taken to the medical guys. Heat race winners so far are Tickle, Weimer, and Millsaps after a big battle with Dungey.

Stewart won his heat, looking confident and smooth so far this year. Pretty much looking like he is doing what he has to do to cross the line first.

Weimer won the Lites main from Canard (as I predicted haha) while Morais was third. Hansen crashed a couple of times, but he'll be fast once he gets it together! Big boys are next!

Stewart wins from Dungey after an awesome race, Dungey lead for 17 laps and then had a big battle to finish the main event! Windham finished third, Reed out early in the race after coming together with Stroupe on lap one and breaking the spokes in his front wheel. Lawrence pulled out too, while Grant didn't start the main event at all. What a way to start the season, unreal!

I'm a big fan of Dungey after that one. That last lap was sick. Reminds me of Mike Larocco back in his Suzuki days with the big #5 haha. Hope Reardon is okay! Where did Burner end up in the final???
