I reckont he ol Hunter valley is way over due for a sweet Circuit.

lets face it a fair few talented people come from that area, close to sydney, close to the freeway/airports etc close to the big populations. i reckon you'd get good crowds too i think.

I reckon if you put a good quality circuit with a drag strip complex, speedway complex you would be in the business!

people love a beer down that way, too. they also love metal mulisha and doing burnouts in the fooly sick commodores.

I wouldn't mind a circuit in the Hunter Valley either, or even the Bathurst one that they've been trying to secure for a while now. If one thing's for certain, we def need a new track in NSW if we are to see much bike racing take place - I'd even be happy with a place like Broadford with a few extra safety features.

As far as a street circuit goes, I was actually only talking to Cam Donald about the possibility of a real road race in Aussie land. He said its been discussed, but isn't holding his breath. I'd actually like to see a Macau type race at Surfers with the V8s (formerly Indy) or even at the Homebush street circuit. Obviously not an ASBK round or anything, but having one close to the Macau date might attract those internationals to travel a bit further for a race. Just thinking out loud here lol.

Ive seen Cam on the twistes out my way giving it a nudge and would love to see him cutting it in OZ. The Surfers idea would be mad Alex, buts never gunna happen. Round Macau time would be perfect. Ah the ideas you get after a few cold ones lol.

We have a road circuit. It's called Mount Panorama.
Alas, getting insurance to run a meeting there is extorsionately expensive.
We certainly need the Government to spend money on it & Eastern Creek's proposed extensions that would make them usuable all year, instead of a silly once-a-year taxi race in Homebush.

I agree with bone about needing one in the Hunter Valley. Port Stephens council's squashing of the Barleigh Ranch circuit proposal was one of the things that influenced my decision to leave Newcastle.

Perhaps some more development on Tamworth raceway to include a top class road race circuit could happen.

We need motocross tracks somewhere in Australia the size of glen helen etc. nice open track with long loopy corners and huges jumps. Dont get me wrong the tracks in Aus are good but there way to small compared to what the americans have going on.

BONE has been snoopin round yaar meean. i havent gone anywhere haha!! big bad bone actually has a job now with the council picking up after the games at the knights footy stadium.. (f-ing score!!) me cousin told them i had experience picking up trash-bags and i was in! when me cousin said i got a job picking up trash i was like, score!! just like a normal friday night down at the pub after sinking the better half of a slab!!
