Does anyone know why we dont get a victory lap at the GP. This has been happening for alot of years now. Since Casey has won the last three its starting to get annoying. We get one for the superbikes.

I'm not sure mate, but you're spot on, it must be annoying for fans. I haven't noticed since I am usually running from the media centre to the car so I can make my flight at that point lol.

Mate it was disgraceful. You pay your money, you sit in the rain, wind and cold, but the event organizers don't even let the riders to a lap after the race so the fans can cheer them on one last time. And especially when its an Australian who won the race. It was the only bad part of my weekend. And I went with 7 blokes and we all thought it was crap.

In spain the fans invade the track with firecrackers, in italy they bring their scooters to the track. We're the the redheaded stepsons down here in OZ. its been happening for years now. Was especialy angry when Casey and Chris both finished on the podium a few years ago and no victory lap.
