Who is going to win the Pro Open class at Coolum in Queensland this weekend? There's 14 points between Yamaha teammates Marmont and Boydy, but I think Jay can hold onto his advantage if he plays it safe and rides smart as he usually does. Going to be a big weekend for sure.

I think Boydy, Moss and Beaton will win on the weekend, with Marmont, Moss and Styke winning the titles in their respective classes.

Yes Alex Boydy is really on it now so i agree there for the weekend but think Marmonts title is safe
Mossy should win the weekend barring misshaps
I feel the U19 for this weekend is a toss up i am not game to pick any 1 rider to win. Go Peterson for the change
I feel he is overdue for a win.
The womens maybe Gillespie could win if she can make the overtaking move.
Darryl King for the vets win.

It was amazing
Weather was great
Lots of people
Racing was fast fast fast
I must admit I didn't see George's crash cos by that time I was so tired etc I was back at my hotel relaxing. I went to the after party for a short bit but it was so early it was just people standing around drinking. I am sure the stories will slowly filter thro . . . .

Sounds like you had a good time mrsbob. This would have been your first mx meeting wouldn't it? I had to work at the last minute so not happy about missing it.

I wanted to head up too, but couldn't make it. Will hopefully be at the majority of the Super X rounds. Spoke to Jay today, he was pretty happy with it. I asked him if he thought about settling for second on the day, but he said he was feeling it and wanted to wrap up the title with a win. MX Nationals keep getting better and better, with even more changes set for 2010 already I hear!
