Come on guys for all you readers logging on to check out the site lets get the forum happening!
What do you think of the changes that we have made to the home page of the site? Once we begin to use their capabilities from now on they will be so much better than what we previously had.
Now all we need to do is to get you guys responding to stories and chatting/debating in the forum and we'll be well on our way to where I want MootoOnline.com.au to fiit in amongst the industry for both racing and non-racing.

i think you need an alert for when someone responds to a thread you have posted to - ie you get an email . . .

You're right! I noticed that an alert comes if you start the topic, but not if you've been a contributor to a topic. I'll see if I can get it sorted.

I've looked into private messaging and it is an option, although I am building the site up first and then I'll put the investment into the system so we have it available. Will let you know when I'm accepting resumes Mrs Bob haha. Thanks for the feedback! The site has came so far to get to where we are at now so I'm looking forward to continuing it into the future.

Not at this stage, no. The forum that we are using is basically built from the ground up so it's all integrated in the site with the comments on posts etc rather than using a BBS forum etc, so it's probably the thing that I'll look at putting the budget into next after we get rolling. It's all good enough for now though I reckon!! Haha.
